A lovely one-form-entry primary school in Fulham is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to take on a small class of 5 pupils with ASD. The class sits within the mainstream school, created specifically to support a small cohort with higher needs in a more tailored environment.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity ideal for a teacher who thrives in a nurturing and inclusive setting. The school is values-led, promoting kindness, respect, honesty, confidence, independence, and courtesy in everything they do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support a small class of 5 pupils with ASD within a mainstream setting

  • Create a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Deliver personalised learning plans and adapt the curriculum where necessary

  • Work closely with the SENCo, parents, and wider team to ensure holistic support

  • Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

About You:

  • You hold QTS and have experience teaching pupils with ASD and additional needs

  • You’re confident working in smaller group settings and adapting your teaching approach

  • You’re passionate about inclusive education and pupil wellbeing

  • You have excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
