Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of learners in Year 1, in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teaching, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leaders to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Solid experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and working within primary school settings
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics programmes
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and planning skills
• A nurturing and reflective approach to teaching and learning
