Magisters Education have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and dedicated staff in this Primary school based in Greenwich, London.

About the role:

This vacancy is for a Teaching Assistant to work with a class, providing appropriate one-to-one support for an individual pupil (including SEN pupils), or support for a small group of pupils of any ability and in any curriculum area.

In this role, you will be supporting primary aged pupils with their learning to help be prepared for their transition into their next stage of their life.

This role is an ASAP start.

The ideal candidate:

• Must be a UK resident or hold a full UK visa.
• Must have a valid DBS which must be on the update service. The ideal candidate must be willing to complete a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check if they do not already have one.
• Experience is not essential but would be ideal.
• Must be willing to build a good relationship with the children and know when to help.

The ideal candidate must be familiar with, and comply with a full range of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security and confidentiality reporting all concerns to an appropriate person to ensure pupil's well being. The candidate must also be able to provide support for the class teacher and colleagues in the manual handling and/or physical restraint of pupils to ensure pupil's well being, health and safety is maintained.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
