Teaching Assistant

Secondary school located in the borough of Maidstone is seeking an teaching assistant to join the team for an immediate start until the end of the academic year in July. This exciting opportunity is available on a long term basis with a strong possibility of it becoming a permanent contract. It's a great opportunity for those who are keen to pursue a career in education to gain valuable classroom experience.

About the role

• Starting immediately until the end of the academic year
• Strong possibility of this becoming a permanent contract
• £70-£90 per day
• Hours are 8.30am - 4.00pm Full time (Monday to Friday)
• Full time until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities include:

• Helping children who need extra support to complete task
• Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
• Looking after children who are upset or have had accidents
• Helping with outings and sports events
• Carrying out administrative tasks
