Magisters Education are delighted to be working alongside an inviting Primary School based in Romford, Essex. We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant who will be a joyful and enthusiastic addition to the classroom.

The School:

The school is run by a team of hardworking staff with a stimulating and enjoyable learning environment. They work to encourage students as they develop and grow, understand each individual student by working with the students to support them in the best way possible. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will be dedicated to supporting students.

The Role:

• Working collaboratively with the class teacher to provide excellent learning to all pupils with a range of abilities.
• Providing support and assistance to individual students or small groups.
• Support the classroom teacher in class management
• Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities with the classroom teacher
• Discuss with the pupils and teacher how best to support the pupil's development

Candidate Requirements:

• Hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to have one processed.
• Knowledge of the additional needs that a child with SEND may have, and how to support them.
• The applicant should be a patient, compassionate, calm, and approachable individual who is good at building rapport with pupils.
• Have experience working with children or young people.
• Ability to use basic technology and IT.
• Ability to relate well to children and adults and respond appropriately.
