About The Role

• Getting the classroom ready for lessons
• Listening to children read, reading to them or telling them stories
• Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
• Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
• Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
• Supervising group activities
• Looking after children who are upset or have had accidents
• Clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
• Carrying out administrative tasks

About The School

• The school site is spacious and attractive with many large trees and a copse as well as a large field and a variety of garden areas with shrubs and flowers.
• The field is landscaped and this provides interesting play and learning areas.
• There are a number of outdoor playground areas for the children to use during their break and lunchtimes as well as for outdoor P.E; these include an outdoor multi-gym, an all ability climbing frame, a trim trail and many games marked onto the playground.
