Teaching Assistant - Barking and Dagenham

£70-£95 Per day

We're currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work across several primary settings in Barking and Dagenham.

About the role:

Magisters Education are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work within the Barking and Dagenham area. You will be required to support the classroom teacher in all subjects and be committed to enhancing pupil's learning, assist in the preparation and the delivery of lessons, have the ability to identify pupils that need additional support, work as part of team and provide effective feedback to the Teacher.

• Role Duties
• To develop an understanding of the specific needs of pupils to be supported.
• To aid pupils to learn as effectively as possible in both group situations and individually.
• To aid children in developing independent learning skills
• To guide and assist the development of children social behaviour, attitudes, self-esteem and skills.
• To assist class teachers
• Support pupils during break and lunchtimes

The ideal applicant:

• Highly motivated
• Experience working in a school (not essential)
• A strong positive role model
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to form excellent relationships
