Location: Hammersmith, London
Start Date: Immediate (Trial ideally Thursday this week)
Contract: Full-time, Ongoing

Are you a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant ready to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated professional to support a Year 2 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a nurturing and inclusive Key Stage 1 setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment where your expertise will be valued and your contribution truly matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with ASD, focusing on communication, engagement, and routine.
• Foster a calm and structured learning environment tailored to the pupil’s individual needs.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies.
• Encourage independence and confidence through consistent, positive reinforcement.
• Maintain clear communication with staff and parents to support the child’s progress.

About You:

• Proven experience supporting children with ASD in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive practices.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach.
• Able to commit to a full-time role with consistency and reliability.
• Available for a trial day this Thursday (preferred).
