Job Details

A welcoming primary school in W9 is seeking two experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their Specialist Resource Provision (SRP). You’ll be working with pupils with Autism (ASD) in a smaller, structured class setting designed to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ASD
  • Implement personalised learning and communication strategies (PECS/Makaton)
  • Encourage independence, social skills, and emotional regulation
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and therapists to ensure consistent support
  • Track and record pupil progress, contributing to reviews and EHCP targets

About You:

  • Experience supporting children with Autism is essential
  • Confident working with non-verbal or pre-verbal pupils
  • Patient, nurturing, and able to adapt to different learning needs
  • Able to commit Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
