SEMH Teaching Assistant

Do you have a strong interest in Special Education? Are you seeking for a new position where you can work with students who have significant learning disabilities?

We are searching for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a school based in Orpington, Bromley, starting ASAP. We are looking for someone to work in their SEN area, assisting students with SEMH issues.

The successful candidates will:

• Have experience of working with children with SEN, particularly Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
• The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
• The ability to communicate effectively with the children and other staff members.
• Assist students in their learning both on a 1-1 and group basis.
• Be a confident, outgoing and personable individual with a passion for helping people.
