Secondary Teaching Assistant

Magisters Education have partnered with a Secondary School in Islington. They are a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Islington for pupils aged between 11 and 18 which has been part of a new Trust since January 2012. Working with the Trust has enabled the school to significantly improve the curriculum, opportunities and life chances for the pupils. The school boasts excellent facilities in a well-kept stimulating environment.

The School are seeking to appoint a Secondary Teaching Assistant to:

• Recognise, praise and celebrate the commitment and achievements of colleagues, pupils and other stakeholders
• Be a positive role model of the values and behaviours that underpin the school vision
• The Academy aims to maintain harmonious relations between all site users; you must ensure that care is taken when dealing with children and involvement with others is professional
• Be part of the team and willingly assist staff with simple tasks as requested
• Be comfortable supporting behaviour and enforcing their behaviour policy
