Are you looking for a new opportunity to work with children who might need some additional support with their learning?

Magisters Education have recently partnered with a Secondary SEMH School in Tower Hamlets. They are looking to appoint a Pastoral Support Assistant to work on a full-time basis to start ASAP.

The role:

• This Pastoral Support Assistant role will be full-time Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm.
• General support will be required including supporting the class teachers with the creation and implementation of plans and strategies for the development and education of pupils.
• Ideal candidate will have to be able to deal with conflict resolutions.
• Small group work and 1:1.

What we're looking for:

• Someone with knowledge/Experience of working with children with SEN.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and someone with a caring attitude that is willing to learn.
• Emotional robustness and an empathetic therapeutic presence.
• Ability to deal with pupils who may be challenging and reluctant to engage.
• Knowledge of restorative justice
• DBS on the update service.
