Magisters Education have recently partnered with a primary school in Barking and Dagenham. They are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work on a full time basis for a January start.

About the role

  • The Learning Support Assistant role will be full-time Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm.
  • You will be working alongside other staff members and providing 1:1 additional support to students across KS1 and KS2, and will also be supporting students with SEN.
  • Your main focus will be working with children who need help with their learning development, so ideally you will need to have some background in supporting pupils within this field.

Job requirements

  • Previous child-centred experience with the primary age range- desirable.
  • Understand how to work with pupils and build positive relationships with various pupils quickly and efficiently
  • Love of education and the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others
  • Confident, proactive and enthusiastic person
  • Good behaviour management skills
