Job Summary

  • ASAP start until the possibility to continue from September 2023.
  • £87-100 per day
  • Specialist SEMH provision
  • Working with 5-11 year olds with complex needs.
  • Positive Behaviour Management Training is provided onsite to successful candidates.

Job Description

  • Providing classroom support to 5-11 year-olds with Autism Spectrum Condition, Speech and Communication Difficulties, ADHD and Severe Social Anxieties.
  • Planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals and groups of students.
  • Monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development.
  • Building core skills and supporting a strong knowledge base through a tailored approach to the individual needs of the pupils.
  • Working within a high staff to pupil ratio to enable an individualized approach to learning.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers and family.
  • Working with CAMHS, the School Nursing Service and Early Help and social care teams.

This role will require a motivated, determined, resilient and dedicated individual who is ready to fully embrace challenge and who approaches setbacks with a positive, can-do attitude. Previous experience working within the Mental Health field will be advantageous.
