This school is seeking a Behaviour Mentor role with a start time of September 2023 located in Wandsworth.

This role involves mentoring, the ideal candidate will be a calming influence, and will provide educational support where needed. If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and you are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, this opportunity is for you. This work is challenging, different, yet extremely rewarding.

Candidates Responsibilties:

• Will be working 1:1 with identified pupils to deliver bespoke support to children with special educational needs.
• Developing and using strategies to manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour.
• Promote good behaviour in and around the school.
• To act as a motivator, role model and advocate for young people.

What the school is looking for:

• Confident in your approach and able to deliver effective interventions.
• An enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be happy to process a new one (£48) if needed.
• Good understanding of the curriculum and needs for each student.
• Previous experience inspiring and motivating pupils who display challenging behaviour.
• A calm, patient and caring approach to working with children.
