Teaching Assistant

Magisters Education have recently partnered with a Secondary SEMH School in Bexley. They are seeking a Teaching Assistant to start from 16/05/23 on a temporary basis. This role may lead into September.

They are looking for someone who is;

• Confident leading a class
• Charismatic- with the ability to keep the pupils engaged and focused
• Organised
• Committed

This role is working in an SEMH (Social emotional mental health setting). You must be resilient and able to cope with challenging behaviour.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
* Manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set by an absent teacher
* Supervising the delivery of the cover work by effectively communicating the work set to students
* Collecting completed work after the lesson and reporting back to the appropriate teacher

Cover Supervisor Requirements:
* Highly adaptable, can cover a variety of subjects
* Be confident, organised and at times, diplomatic
* Good Communication skills
