Are you a passionate and engaging SEN teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a welcoming primary SEN school in Brent (NW10). Who are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to lead a Year 1 class of 8 pupils, most of whom have an autism diagnosis and EHCPs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored lessons to meet the needs of pupils with autism and communication challenges
• Use visuals and symbol-supported strategies to support pre-verbal and early-verbal learners
• Lead a team of three support staff, two LSAs and one TA
• Create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with the SENCO and wider team to implement EHCP targets

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in a SEND setting is essential
• Confident supporting pupils with autism and complex communication needs
• Skilled in using visuals, symbols, and structured routines
• Able to lead and collaborate with support staff effectively
• Available to start immediately
