About the role

• Working alongside a range of professionals and SENCO.
• Assist with any personal care needs that may be required.
• Implementing different strategies to cater for various learning abilities and behaviours.
• Keep accurate records of student progress, behaviour incidents, and interventions implemented.
• Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Follow established safeguarding procedures and actively contribute to creating a safe and nurturing educational environment.

What the school is looking for

• Supportive, patient, nurturing, empathetic and friendly.
• Previous employed or voluntary work experience within a school setting is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be happy to process a new one (£48).
• A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and a caring and compassionate approach.
