Magisters Education are recruiting! We have a fantastic Secondary School in Newham looking for a English Teacher to start January 2020.

 

Magisters Education are currently on the look-out for a committed, positive English Teacher to join this wonderful Secondary school based in Newham for a January 2020 start (or sooner for an available teacher). This is a full-time role and the salary will be paid to scale based on experience £24000-£40000.

 

The school has a warm community feel and involves students in lots of different activities to develop their abilities and help students engage. They have an inclusive environment where every student is taught to share and treat other students the way they would want to be treated.

 

This is a role for an English Teacher. The school would like to have the successful candidate work within the English Department, the exact year group can be selected at interview based on your suitability. There are potential options for additional responsibility in school for the right candidate with respective TLR payments.

 

The school is on a bus route but mainly accessible by car and the large park has space for all staff.

 

The school environment has recently gone through a period of change with a relatively new headteacher (2 years) who has already made a real impact – there are exciting times ahead of them to make a dramatic difference to the educational futures of the students they encounter. To join us and be successful in this English Teacher role you will need to:

 

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
• Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
