Magisters are currently supporting a prosperous Secondary school in Ealing to find an enthusiastic, proactive and dedicated Science Teacher who is able to teach KS3 – KS5.

This is an Easter 2020 start for the ideal Science Teacher.

The school are willing to pay to scale MPS for a Science Teacher, offering a salary of £30,000 - £48,000 a year or UPS for a highly skilled and experienced Science Teacher.

The three-form entry school has brilliant facilities throughout, with the Science department boasting modern laboratories, fully equipped with a team of Science Technicians on hand to support the department.  It is a well-known, respected and successful school that is located in close proximity to numerous stations and can be easily accessed.

The school constantly provides opportunities for continuous professional development.

The school would like to appoint an exceptional Science Teacher with a proven track record and strong scientific expertise in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The school are open to both experienced and NQT Science Teachers with a great mentoring scheme in place.

Magisters are looking for Science Teachers who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in teaching Science successfully at Secondary school level (all subject specialisms)
  • Strong scientific expertise
  • Effective behaviour management skills
  • A passion for teaching Science
  • KS3 – KS4 experience, with KS5 being advantageous
  • QTS and a Degree or Masters in any Science specialist subject (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

The Headteacher of the school is aiming to appoint a Teacher of Science that can enthuse and motivate students to develop their scientific knowledge and inquisitive skills. The Science Teacher must be able to relate theory to real-life applications.
