An Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Primary School are looking for an energetic, creative and experienced Teaching Assistant with a child-centred approach to support the learning and development of the pupils at their school.

Are you experienced in providing 1:1 and small group support for lower ability pupils?

Can you confidently take a group of children aside to carry out learning activities?

If so then this Primary School need a motivated TA like YOU!

This role is suited to a committed and confident Teaching Assistant who can provide pupils with support effectively to achieve learning outcomes and will involve:

• Preparing the classroom for lesson activities, ensuring the relevant resources are available
• Assisting the Class Teacher in monitoring and appropriately managing pupil’s behaviour
• Encouraging pupils to actively engage in their learning, to participate in lessons and activities
• Helping pupils struggling with classwork and motivating them to strive to achieve their potential
• Handing out and collecting workbooks, homework, textbooks and allocating any resources required responsibly
• Taking lower ability groups of children aside to support them with reading, writing, maths
