NQT Year 5 Teacher – Hackney

Magisters Education are working with an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted School in the Hackney area who are looking for an NQT Primary Teacher to work with a Year 5 class for September 2021!

The School

The school are a 3-form entry school with a strong record of success academically with students often joining top secondary schools. The school offer an excellent learning environment with modern classrooms and excellent resources for each student. They aim to offer a supportive work environment that promotes a strong teamworking ethos while also promoting the ability to work independently. Behaviour is good within the school and complemented by a strong support system for managing behaviour which works effectively should you need to utilise it. The school is located close to a tube station and are serviced by a number of bus routes.

The Role

The role will see you working full time working with a Year 5 class, pupils have good behaviour and are meeting and exceeding their current teachers’ expectations, so you will be working with highly capable and motivated students. The department encourage staff to get involved in a range of exciting extracurricular activities with students and promote strong social growth for the students to ensure they are happy and achieving in their lessons. You will receive continuous support throughout the year and will have a dedicated NQT trainer who will offer guidance and support. You will have weekly 1 to 1 meetings to discuss your progress and will have the chance to feedback in areas you feel you need additional support.

Experience/Job Requirements

• You will be completing your PGCE for the summer of 2021 or 2020
• If you are an experienced teacher your application can still be considered for this position
• You will be an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who aims to teach outstanding lessons and will work with the school to maximise your potential
• You will be available to begin for September 2021
