NQT Year 5 Teacher – Brent

Magisters Education are working with an ‘Outstanding’ rated Ofsted school in the Brent area who are looking for an NQT Primary Teacher to work with a Year 5 class for September 2021!

The School

The school are part of a wider trust of schools and offer excellent training and development for all staff members. Parents and pupils have a high level of satisfaction and comment on the school being highly organised and pupils enjoy being part of the school and have positive outcomes frequently moving to top secondary schools in the area. The school are a 4 form entry school and you will be part of a sizable KS2 team with experienced teachers to support you during your first year. The school are located close to a range of bus routes and have onsite parking if you are driving.

The Role

The role will see you working full time working with a Year 5 class who have good behaviour and come from a range of diverse backgrounds, with a mixed sex class. The KS2 team work collaboratively and aim to support each other, so you will have plenty of support. As you complete your NQT year, you will have access to CPD and development and as the school are part of a wider trust you will have first priority for all trust jobs should you wish to move location or seek further progression into more senior roles as you gain more experience. You will receive continuous support throughout the year and will have a dedicated NQT trainer who will offer guidance and support. You will have weekly 1 to 1 meetings to discuss your progress and will have the chance to feedback in areas you feel you need additional support.

Experience/Job Requirements

• You will be completing your PGCE for the summer of 2021 or 2020
• If you are an experienced teacher your application can still be considered for this position
• You will be an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who aims to teach outstanding lessons and will work with the school to maximise your potential
• You will be available to begin for September 2021
