NQT KS2 Teacher – Croydon

Magisters Education are working with a ‘Good’ Ofsted School in the Croydon area who are looking for an NQT Primary Teacher to work with a Year 4 class for September 2021!

The School

The school are a small 1 form entry school with a family feel. The school have strong ties to the local area and receive excellent feedback from parents for the quality of teaching offered. The school have a stable staff complement with many of the teachers having worked at the school for a number of years. The school offer a friendly and personable work environment and you will receive a lot of support and will be able to shape the future of the school as you progress in your time at the school. The school is located close to trams and also easily accessible by bus or by car with onsite parking available.

The Role

The role will see you working full time working with a Year 4 class, pupils have excellent behaviour and promote students to take responsibility for themselves with rewards and promotion of good behaviour which has meant that student behaviour is at a high standard without need for a strong behavioural system. The school have recently refurbished so you will have access to a modern classroom with excellent facilities. You will receive continuous support throughout the year and will have a dedicated NQT trainer who will offer guidance and support. You will have weekly 1 to 1 meetings to discuss your progress and will have the chance to feedback in areas you feel you need additional support.

Experience/Job Requirements

• You will be completing your PGCE for the summer of 2021 or 2020
• If you are an experienced teacher your application can still be considered for this position
• You will be an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who aims to teach outstanding lessons and will work with the school to maximise your potential
• You will be available to begin for September 2021
