NQT KS2 Teacher – Camden

Magisters Education are working with an ‘Outstanding’ rated Ofsted school in the Camden area who are looking for an NQT Primary Teacher to work with a Year 6 class for September 2021!

The School

The school are a 3-form entry school that promote pupils to take an increasing responsibility for all their actions which helps to the school to develop a culture of good behaviour and strong academic achievement. They promote positive reinforcement for good behaviour and achievement which allows students at all ages to grow and develop into responsible and happy learners and encourage their teachers to create a happy and harmonious teaching environment. The school aim to support all their staff and have an open environment where you can have your input and suggest ideas for the school, to ensure they are continually improving and creating a harmonious learning environment for both their students and teachers.

The Role

The role will see you working full time working with a Year 6 class who have good behaviour and come from a range of diverse backgrounds, with a mixed sex class. You will be supporting the students for their SATS exams and will have a high level of support so you can help your class to reach their full potential. You will find that student behaviour is excellent, and you will be responsible for promoting students to take increasing responsibility for their actions as they prepare for secondary school where they will benefit from this mindset. You will receive continuous support throughout the year and will have a dedicated NQT trainer who will offer guidance and support. You will have weekly 1 to 1 meetings to discuss your progress and will have the chance to feedback in areas you feel you need additional support.

Experience/Job Requirements

• You will be completing your PGCE for the summer of 2021 or 2020
• If you are an experienced teacher your application can still be considered for this position
• You will be an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who aims to teach outstanding lessons and will work with the school to maximise your potential
• You will be available to begin for September 2021
