NQT KS2 Teacher – Barking

Magisters Education are working with an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted School in the Barking area who are looking for an NQT Primary Teacher to work with a Year 1 class for September 2021!

The School

The school are a 2-form entry school offering a friendly and supportive work environment. The school are a new build school so have up to date and modern facilities. The school offer extensive CPD and utilise a strong structured training programme to support all their teachers. Classes are smaller than average meaning you can spend more time focusing on your individual student needs. The school is located close to a tube station and are serviced by a number of bus routes.

The Role

The role will see you working full time working with a Year 1 class, pupils come from a range of backgrounds and you many have EAL needs, you will have a teaching assistant to support you who is specialised in support EAL students, meaning you can ensure all your pupils are developing successfully. You will have access to a range of teaching tools and can utilise iPads that are allocated to all students to aid your lessons. You will receive continuous support throughout the year and will have a dedicated NQT trainer who will offer guidance and support. You will have weekly 1 to 1 meetings to discuss your progress and will have the chance to feedback in areas you feel you need additional support.

Experience/Job Requirements

• You will be completing your PGCE for the summer of 2021 or 2020
• If you are an experienced teacher your application can still be considered for this position
• You will be an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who aims to teach outstanding lessons and will work with the school to maximise your potential
• You will be available to begin for September 2021
